Cruisin' the Archive - Jack Johnson

I picked Jack Johnson this week because I was watching his performance from Austin City Limits a few years back and again realized that I love this guy's music in the summer. This performance is from the innaugural Vegoose Music Festival in late October from Snake Eyes Stage.

A favorite of mine, John Butler Trio is definately a band you should open your ears too. I remember my friend getting a copy of Three a few years back and quite honestly I was blown away. Cruisin' the Archive - Fat Maw Rooney

I've seen these guys a few times opening up for The Big Wu alongside my hometown heroes in Stealin' Strings and I always come away impressed. This show sounds great, and if you're interested in hearing some blues mixed with extended jams and funks this is definately a great download to start off your week.

Cruisin' the Archive - Soulive

I was checking out the Live Music Archive the other night searching for another great show to post, and I heard this show from Soulive. Previously, I haven't really covered Soulive but this 3 piece definitely caught my ear and I've been enjoying their funky rock music with also adding a mixture of soul and jazz music. This show is from this past April at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. This show is a pretty good recording that features a few covers including appearances by a Phish & Chips favorite in Grace Potter and Reggie Watts.
