So I missed Summercamp, I know I suck. Anyways, lately I've been on a RAQ kick and I'm pretty upset I missed this set. The photo isn't from Summercamp, but from the February 4th show in Philly and the photo is by Jonathon Healey.

A group out of Minneapolis, Hyentyte combines some funky sounds along with the the reggae style that has made 311 and Slightly Stoopid great. The band originally started in 1998, but since then has gone through name changes, and of course new members coming and leaving, with every move making the band where it is today. I plan on seeing these guys at 10KLF and I'm hoping they get the crowd bumping and moving. You can usually catch Hyentyte making their way through Twin Cities with occasional trips to Wisconsin, Michigan and a few other Midwest locations.

Phish Brooklyn DVD

After almost what seems like a year of speculation, Phish will be releasing their "Live in Brooklyn: DVD on July 11th. This is a two disc set, and they will release a 3-disc live CD that is remastered from the original tapes. The DVD features the entire June 17th show, and also has some backstage and soundcheck footage. This is their first DVD release since their "Live in Vegas" DVD that was released in 2002.

And as a bonus I've added Phish's soundcheck for download...enjoy!
