Groove of the Week - Chinese Fingertrap

This week's "Groove of the Week" is a unique quartet hailing from Milwaukee, WI. My first chance to see them was few months ago when the Cosmic Break tour rolled through Milwaukee. I was actually there to see Stealin' Strings but Chinese Fingertrap was the next best thing I heard that night. With influences such as Martin, Medeski, and Wood, the Flectones, and Phish this band has a wide variety of styles. The tracks below are from a February 23, 2007 show from Stones Throw in Eau Claire, WI.
