Ticketmaster's fees alone are more than that now.

Wow...

$12 got you CSNY AND The Band...amazing how far your concert $$ could go back in 1974! That wouldn't even cover the fees / taxes on a ticket to CSNY's current tour (playng Toronto July 10-11, 2006). Yes, I'm going and yes I paid dearly for the privilige - but what the hell, you only go around once. Enjoy...

I was at that show. I'd never spent so much for a ticket in my life. As I recall, the Band put in a very lacklustre effort. It started to rain pretty hard halfway through CSNY, but they just cranked it up & kept playing. They were great.

I am headed to the Atlanta show this evening and can't stinking wait. A ticket to any concert these days is readicculus. I figure if CSN is one of my all time favorite bands and Neil Young is my all time favorite song writer why not pay the money to see CSNY ;) I'm wearing my 1984 CSN tour t-shirt and going with expectations of seing some of the greatest music by the most creative musicians ever- create a sound like no other. Don't you wish more musicians like CSNY used the studio for practice more often? Needless to say I am stoked and ready for this. No one says it better than CSNY.

I was very disillusioned at their Phillips concert. It was a focused Bush-bashing political rally and had very few songs that were actually relaxing to listen to and enjoy. I can take one or two but almost every song was like that. In addition, I thought it was in especially bad taste for anyone who had lost someone in the war but was supportive of the effort. I wasn't alone either because at one point the crowd started to boo and the boo's were at least as loud as the cheers. Then, at least 1/3 of the audience just got up and left (it was only 2/3 through the show!). I will never go to another CSNY concert unless they are there to play music without the politics. I pay money to enjoy myself and have a good time. I did not pay to go to a political convention! Don't get me wrong, most of the songs they sang were very good but the politics really left a bad taste in my mouth and ruined the entire concert! They should only play in heavy democratic areas like California and stay there!

Then you have no idea what CSNY is about. They have been playing political songs their entire career. HELLO McFly! The show was incredible. Closed minded people... go get a life would ya! I mean what did you expect? Majority of these musicians repertoire is political lyrics with a ton of passion put in to it. This is the very problem us Americans face, PEOPLE LIKE YOU!

The show was amazing.

I went to play this yesterday and my mp3s were screwy - I started to download yesterday and got only a few and had to stop - did you take these down or did they time out? I can't seem to access them anymore ....
